How much is MAPSC membership?
- $25 per year
- $15 per semester
What are the benefits of joining MAPSC?
- MAPSC is the only organization on the USC Health Science campus that works with other interdisciplinary groups to be able to implement shared decision-making and gain access to opportunities such as the Mock OSCE, street medicine clinics, etc.
- Opportunities to meet preceptors and make connections
- Opportunities to expand your CV and gain experience in hands-on clinical settings
- MAPSC members have priority when signing up for MAPSC clinics and health fairs
- Active members receive MAPSC cords during graduation
- New members can receive a MAPSC designed T-shirt
Who is considered an active member?
- Students must pay yearly or semesterly dues to be considered active for that period
- Students must attend mandatory clinic training event to be able to participate in MAPSC clinics
- Keck Family Medicine Interest Group (Interdisciplinary Care)
- Keck Transitions in Health Program (CMM)
- Healthcare in Action (Street Medicine)
- Health Fairs
- Attend at least three MAPSC sponsored events per year
- Maximum of one Social Event can be considered for credit
- Obtain one fundraising credit by supporting MAPSC during fundraising week
