The FUTURE

about MAPSC

MAPSC is the first organization founded on the USC Health Sciences Campus to bridge the gap between the Keck School of Medicine and the USC School of Pharmacy. Recognizing the differences between the medicine and pharmacy professions, MAPSC aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.

MAPSC offers the unique experience of volunteering at the USC Student-Run Clinic alongside other healthcare professional students from USC. At the clinic, you will work in a team that includes students from the Pharmacy, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant programs.

As a pharmacy student, your main responsibilities will be to interview the patients, obtain the medication history and formulate a treatment plan that will optimize the patient's drug therapy.
